Donate to the Young Conservatives of Texas at Texas Tech!

Why should I donate?

Thanks for taking the time to stop by our website. As you can imagine, running a successful student organization which holds bi-weekly events, monthly speakers and state conventions requires a lot of time, money and human resources. Luckily, most college students have a lot of time and are a good source of humans, but money is always an issue. Unfortunately, Texas Tech University has categorized our chapter as a “political organization”, meaning funding is severely restricted purely on the basis of “we restrict membership” to those who hold the “conservative belief”. For the 2010-2011 school year, Texas Tech has given our organization $100.00 to operate on, which will hardly pay for our first event, the 9-11 Memorial.

Therefore, we rely on you to support our program to advance the conservative movement on campus. It is only because of generous donors such as yourself that it is possible for our organization to even thinking about existing and operating. Hosting speakers, recruiting members and the various expensive associated with running a student organization runs into the thousands of dollars each semester.

During the 2008 Presidential Primaries, our Chairman Jeff Morris attended the Primary convention. There, he was one of two Republicans who showed up to participate; whereas, the Democrats had well over 100 individuals. This shows how the Political Landscape at Texas Tech is quickly changing, which is why we desperately need your help! If you would like to help the conservative movement at Texas Tech, please consider donating to the Young Conservatives of Texas.

Please keep in mind that your donations to the Young Conservatives of Texas can be a tax deductible donation.

How can I donate?

Thank you for your generous donations of any size. Your contributions provide the fuel for a well-coordinated, effective and successful chapter. With your help, we will be able to educate students about how important politics are to their daily lives and how important they are to the political process!

Currently, we only have one way for you to donate to our chapter:
